The Bald Eagle, what an epic bird. To see one soaring high above, to see one perched on a snag tree eyeing out its pray or to see one swooping down to catch a fish, any angle or glimpse of an eagle is an aw inspiring moment. The Trinity River is home to many bald eagles. On a day by the river, a rafting trip or a drive along the river it’s not uncommon to see one in action or subtly perched. It is a more uncommon sighting farther up on land, we rarely see them circling around our farm, and when we do it feels very special. We wanted to depict the eagle here as a special part of this country and this State of California as well as a key part of nature and this local habitat. We added in some California poppies to add to the California flare. We hope you love this design and rock it proudly.
